Skin care is important at any time of life but especially so if you have acne. Effective acne skin care can be the difference between enjoying life or hiding from it. Wash your skin with a mild cleanser, once in the morning and once in the evening and after heavy exercise. Wash your face from under the jaw to the hairline. Use a gentle soap or specialized skin cleaner for washing the face once or twice a day. It is important not to scrub the skin as this will further aggravate the acne. Try to avoid touching your face as much as possible. Many people do this unconsciously, but the hands are dirty and oily and can spread germs over greater areas of your skin. Medications are a great help in clearing up the skin and combating the bacteria which causes acne.

People who squeeze, pick or pop their zits risk developing scars or dark blotches. People should avoid rubbing and touching their skin lesions. The best choice for good acne skin care is to wear no makeup at all, but if you feel you must wear makeup choose some that will not clog the pores. Try both electric razors and safety razors to see which is more comfortable. Don’t use safety razors with dull blades change the blade every two or three shaves. Wash your face regularly. If possible, at least twice a day to keep your face fresh and clean. Sleep early and get plenty of sleep. When your body is well-rested, there is less chance of an acne breakout.

Do not squeeze pimples. When the pore is broken, bacteria can easily get in and infect the skin.

Acne Skin Care Tips

1. Avoid Stress.

2. Use exfoliating acne skin care products.

3. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

4. Use natural acne skin care products as well.

5. Mental health is just as important in preventing acne.

6. Wash your face regularly. If possible, at least twice a day to keep your face fresh and clean.

A skin care cream that gives the desired results is hard to find.  Most skin moisturizer cream products have harmful ingredients that do not benefit your skin.  Skin creams should contain ingredients that make you look younger and refresher.

I am going to tell you two things you need to know when selecting a skin care cream.

(1) What ingredients to avoid and what ingredients are beneficial in your skin cream.

(2) Also I will give you a  quick lesson on using day cream and night cream.

Avoid These Ingredients

*Petroleum jelly or petrolatum -Clogs Pores

*Alcohol – Dries the skin, Causes skin to make oily again. Bad cycle.

*Mineral Oil (its petroleum based)

*Paraffin Wax (Petro again)

The above ingredients are harmful because they strip natural oils from your skin.  Don’t use them!

6 Skin Care Ingredients That Work

*Manuka Honey – Has healing effects

*Avocado Oil – Has hydrating qualities

*CoQ10 & Vitamin E – Antioxidants that destroy free radicals that damage skin cells

*Shea Butter – Moisturizes Skin Naturally

*Light Babassu wax – It soothes & softens skin

Night Skin Care Tips

Your body systems are very busy and active when you sleep.  The reason for all the activity is that a giant repair project is undertaken every night.  This is because the skin and other body parts are damaged during the day. Cells need to be replaced with new skin cells among other healing that is needed.  This is done while you sleep.

Since it is apparent that sleep serves a very beneficial purpose for our overall health, this is a great time to give our skin an extra boost.  You need to do this with a good, natural and safe skin moisturizing cream.  Some companies sell night creams that can be irritating and can disrupt the sleep pattern.  Be sure to adhere to the advice above about which ingredients to avoid.

Now let’s look at a few Day Care Skin Tips.

You need a skin care moisturizer cream during the day.  It should contain some of the same ingredients for night skin care, but not as waxy and somewhat lighter.  I found a skin care line that has a new skin cream called Cynergy TK.

Cynergy TK has a protein that helps the body make new collagen, elastin and skin cells.  It is a fantastic product that really does what it says it will do.  Also it is really natural and safe to use on any skin or skin tone.

One more little tip that will help your skin start on its rejuvenating course:

 A Hydrating mask.

Two times each month it is strongly recommended that you use a hydrating mask at night.  You won’t need to use the night cream at this time.

The hydrating mask I recommend is not green and it does not get hard.  No scrubbing it off either.  This skin hydrating mask gives excellent results.   You just leave it on and all the beneficial ingredients are gradually and safely absorbed into the skin – while you get a good night’s rest.

This skin mask contains a  very special ingredient, actually a nutrient,  called Rigin.  Rigin has been demonstrated in clinical trials to improve elasticity and fimness on the neck and around the face.  The trials showed a 40% increase in firmness and 24% in hydration.  Quite impressive!  You won’t find it at expensive over the counter store either.

So there you have some of my recommendations on skin care.  For more in depth details see AHealthyRadiantSkin.com.  Just remember that a skin care company that is interested in you and how you look and feel should tell you what the ingredients are in their product. They should also tell you if they are safe or not.

The one company I found does all that and more.  They have a newsletter and Blog where you can get answers to questions right from the CEO of the company.  That’s the kind of service I recommend. That’s the only skin care product line I personally use. – Margaret Bell

During summer if you spend more time outdoors, it can lead to lot of problems from bug bites to sunburn. To overcome these problems just follow certain summer skin care tips. If you are out for shopping in the hot sun then bugs may irritate you a lot. Bugs are often attracted to products like suntan lotion, perfume, hairspray and deodorant. To overcome this problem, try avoiding these products or take a dose of Vitamin B. When it is excreted through perspiration, it gives off an odor that many bugs find offensive. If a bug still tries to bit you, use a poultice of meat tenderizer to relieve the itch. During summer, lips get cracked, peeled off and don’t improve even with the help of lip balm. Use a lip protector with a protection factor of SPF 15 and apply it regularly. Do not apply lip glosses or petroleum jelly. People with dry skin must drink plenty of water, leafy vegetables and fruits which will help to moisturize your skin.

Ultra violet radiation (UVA) is very strong in early morning and afternoon. UVA can cause tanning and wrinkles. UVB rays can cause sunburn. Both UVA and UVB rays can cause suppression of the immune system. Our immune system helps protect against the development and spread of cancer. Apply Sunscreen lotion which blocks both UVA and UVB to all exposed skins.

Your body weight is 50 to 55% water. Drink six to eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day to keep well hydrated. 80% of the damage to the skin is done by the time you are 18 years old. Avoid going out between 10.00 a.m. and 4 p.m. and apply sunscreen lotion to children older than 6 months. Do apply sunscreen lotion after swimming or sports. Wear clothes that fully cover your body which can minimize sun exposure. While pale skin is the most likely to burn, darker skin can burn also if they stay in the sun too long. Use protection no matter what skin tone you have.

Do clean your face at regular intervals in a day with water. Pat dry your face instead of rubbing it with towel. Avoid caffeine and hard drinks. Drink lots of water. Take small but frequent meals and avoid protein rich diet. Use less Make up during summer and remove it at bedtime. Avoid the drying effects of soap by using a body wash and add bath or shower oil to your bath.

In the summer season you need to be completely engaged in protecting your skin against sun protection, on the other hand during the winter season you may completely stick to the moisturizers because of the feel of dry skin that we develop.

The skin is dry in the winter because of the fact of low temperatures, low humidity factors and the strong, harsh winds that devoid the skin of its natural lipid layer that protects the skin from drying out. To have a good feeling on your skin during the harsh winter weather, this article presents you with few of the tips:

Use lukewarm water:

It is important to remember the fact that the usage of hot water during bathing can reap the moisture content from the skin thus causing a drying affect on the skin. Incase you cannot tolerate to have the bath in lukewarm water then what I would suggest to you is that keep your showers short and sweet and take them just once a day so that you do not rip the excessive lipid layers. The hot temperature along with the chemicals that have a drying effect on your skin would land up as a big shock to your skin. You need to consider the same rule for your hands also, incase your hands turn red after washing then it is important to note that the water was too hot.

Use moisturizers:

Moisturizer is the must use option that you need to consider irrespective of the fact that you practice it often or not. It is important to note the fact that the moisturizer is the key for soft and supple skin during the winter season. To get the best results on the application of the moisturizer it is important to note the fat tat you can pat the dry skin instead of rubbing with your skin with the towel before the application.

The usage of antibacterial soaps in the public places can be really harsh on the skin so it is important that you use a mild hand wash and further for keeping your cuticles soft it is important to note that you massage with olive oil. Further the application of moisturizer along with the facial water can facilitate you with a number of benefits. First apply the facial water and then after that you can just dab the moisturizer this offers you with a very refreshing effect during the hot season.

Exfoliate:

Moisturizer is one of the most effective tools and it can facilitate you the desired results on an exfoliated skin. You can consider the usage of a scrub in the shower and the exfoliate skin along with a mild face scrub. The best time for the usage of a scrub is when the skin is dry.

Acne vulgaris, or commonly known as acne, is a skin problem that may begin when you are approaching to your teenage. It usually occurs as a result of clogged skin’s pore. Skin’s pores are clogged by oil and dead skin cells. Pimples, whiteheads and blackhead are the different variations of acne. Acne is commonly found in an individual’s face, neck, chest, shoulders or at the back.

Acne is prevalent among teens and young adults; however, children can also be affected with acne. It may initiate at any time in life and may persist for even life time. The concentration and location of acne greatly varies individual to individual. For some individual, it is appeared in particular time in a year, whereas for some individual it can be seen throughout the year. The acne may range from mild to severe.

An individual suffering from acne problem for prolonged period of time may undergo through low self-esteem and depression problem. So an overall attention is needed to sort out the problem. In most of the cases, an appropriate acne skin care along with prescribed medication can only show the positive result. This article focuses on different arenas of acne skin care and their corresponding benefits.

Be Gentle with Your Skin

Oil and dead cells are responsible for producing acne on your skin. So you should wash your skin regularly with mild cleanser or mild soap. You should use the soap with a perfect pH balance, say pH7.0. You need to wash your face area starting from below the jaw to the hairline. Many of us become so desperate in order to get rid off acne that they use either harsh detergent soap on the skin or rough scrub pads.

But none of these can really improve acne problem, rather then to make it more badly. In such case, rather being desperate on your skin, it is better that you should seek expert’s guidance. Most of us bring the skin problem just not washing it thoroughly after using soap on skin. It is the granule of the soap that also makes the skin pores clogged and creates problems whatsoever. Thereby the first phase of acne skin care is gentle but thorough washing of skin.

Next important step of course includes using regular shampoo on hair. Many dermatologists recommend using shampoo everyday to wash your hair. Hair lice and dandruffs can also cause various skin problems including acne. So washing hair on a regular basis should be an integral part of acne skin care.

Be Careful at the Shaving Time

Acne is common among both of the gender. If you are a guy, you should implement precautions during shaving time. Whether you use an electric shaver or a razor, you should be very careful. Before your shaving, it is strongly recommended that you should apply plenty of water and soaps on your beard to make it soften. Then smoothly use the shaver so that no further damages occur on the skin.

Be Careful about Touching the Skin

Almost all of us have a tendency to touch the area where the problem is. Suppose your finger got scratched with knife, notice that how frequently you are touching the scratched area! This is our general tendency. We can observe the same thing in the case of acne. Some people even believe that squeezing or popping the zits may help it to get removed. But this is a myth. This can make the situation worsen. If you are truly serious about your problem, please remember that you should not pop up pimple. This is essential to acne skin care.

Be Reluctant about Using Sunburn

Again a myth, that says that sunburn or tanning can offer benefits against acne. This is not true. This does not have any long term benefit. It can only serve the purpose on a short term basis. Rather there is an increased risk with sun exposure such as skin ageing and skin cancer. So these products are not at all the part of acne skin care.

Skin is one of the most important parts of the body because it protects the entire body from different kinds of harmful elements and it requires constant care. Dirt, sun, dust and harmful chemicals can easily damage the skin so we need effective skin care tips in order to protect ourselves from dangerous substances.

One of the best skin care tips is to have a natural skin care routine to pamper the skin and protect it from premature aging and skin disease. External and internal factors can bring negative effects to the skin. External factors include the sun’s harmful UV rays, dust and dirt while internal factors are the unhealthy foods we consume.

What we eat greatly affect the condition of our skin. Though genes have a lot to do in determining skin condition and an individual can have a bad skin because of hormonal imbalance in some age, eating unhealthy foods can seriously damage the skin. This issue cannot be solved through external care.

Here are some skin care tips for a healthy and clear skin.

1.    The most important of all the skin care tips is maintaining your skin clean. It is recommended to use mild facial wash for your skin type rather than using soap for your face. You can also use natural home remedies to keep your skin healthy, beautiful and glowing. For instance, use lemon juice, rose water and fruit juices in order to clean and wipe your face, which can help you look and feel refreshed. People who have dry skin are recommended to use a dash of milk cream mixed with a drop of lemon and rub it on the skin.

2.    Remember that drinking a lot of fluids is best to keep the skin healthy. As much as possible, have at least eight to ten glasses of water each day. Fruit juices are also helpful for their nutritional content.

3.    Make sure to apply sunscreen lotion whenever you go out. Sunscreen is necessary to protect the skin from the dangerous UV rays of the sun, which is known to cause damages such as blemishes, pigmentation, burn mask, premature aging and even skin cancer.

4.    It is best to avoid any unhealthy foods especially if you are already experiencing acne or skin irritation. Do not drink too much coffee, alcohol, saturated drinks and tea to avoid skin acne outbreaks. In addition, smoking is known to have bad effects to the skin. Tobacco tends to make the skin dry and dull. If you lessen or stop consuming these things, your skin will look a lot younger and healthier.

5.    If you are one of those people who cannot keep up with their busy schedules and cannot find time to take care of their skin properly, it is advisable to keep moist tissues inside your bag or purse to wipe your face and remove sweat and dirt. Make sure to apply sunscreen and mild moisturizer on your skin before going outside to protect your skin. However, no matter how busy you are, do not forget to wash your face before going to bed. Remove make up and apply a good moisturizer that is best fro the type of your skin.

As a woman matures, skin care and makeup application changes but they always go hand in hand to create beauty. More focused attention to skin care is in order. “Less is more” when it comes to makeup. Makeup should be applied and colors should be chosen in a way that helps lift the face to make you look younger and more attractive. Your cosmetics should never be used as something to hide behind, rather your makeup and skin care should be used to enhance and accent the mature beauty that you have become.

Body hair in new places is something you can count on – again; it’s hormones in action. You may want to start shaving some places where body hair grows, but whether you do is up to you. Some guys who grow facial hair like to let it develop into a mustache and beard. Some girls may decide to leave the hair on their legs and under their arms as is. It’s all up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Brush your tongue.

Remember how stunning the ladies were in the 1950’s? That style worked beautiful back then, but if you’ve recently been asked if you’re going to sock hop, it’s time to box up those old Look Magazines and run–not walk–into the 21st century. Get as many fashion magazines as you can find, and don’t overlook the internet, the best free resource for ordering magazines, finding hairstyles, clothes, shoes, and an abundance of attitude for today’s mature woman.

The more you keep your body hydrated the longer your skin will stay elastic and supple. Your inside will be happy as well and be less likely to hold on to water weight due to “water feminine” just like your body adjusts and slows down your metabolism for “calorie famine” when you severely cut back on eating.

Beautiful skin, a beautiful body and a beautiful sense of style does not have an end once you hit 50s. There’s very little difference between the recommended diet and exercise habits for a 20-year-old and that of a 50-year-old. In fact, the only difference is that a healthy diet and regular exercise are more important than ever. During the aging process, the key to keeping your body properly functioning and in shape is to eat healthy and stay active. At 50 and older, most adults are still capable of completing most exercises.

Place it to draw attention to your best asset. One nice ring (and I mean one, leave the extra rings at home Liberace!) or a nice bracelet will draw attention to your hands, a nice necklace will draw attention to your neck or, if it drops low, your bust, a great belt will draw attention to your waist, nice earring to your neck and face.

Don’t skip out on exercise. Who says you can’t exercise when you’re over 50? Heck, we’ve seen quite a few and they’ve outdone us at the gym! If you’ve never exercised before, talk with your doctor before beginning a program. As soon as you have an okay, try walking a few minutes a day and increase those minutes by every other day. If you have a dog, walk him or her.

Avoid applying blush to the cheekbones since this can make aging faces look overly thin. Instead, apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend, blend, blend. Also, look for cream blush instead of powder. Powder tends to settle into fine lines and wrinkles, making them look extremely visible.

Skin cleansing is very much essential, because pollution, grease and grime cling to the skin, clogging pores, while the body eliminates toxins through perspiration. Properly cleansing is the basis for healthy skin. A clean, cotton facecloth can be used to gently moisten the face prior to cleansing, but do not rub or scrub with it, which can irritate or dry your skin. A facecloth does not have to be used to properly cleanse your skin and is a matter of personal preference. A soft towel made of natural fiber should be put in service to dry the skin. Blot the towel over your skin, without rubbing or scrubbing, until your skin is smooth and dry to the touch. Drinking enough water and eating well-balanced meals can assist your body’s system in internally cleansing skin care. Sometimes a toner or astringent is used to deep cleanse oily skin or skin with acne after the traditional cleansing routine. This removes oil that is trapped in the pores to leave a cleaner, smoother complexion.

A healthy lifestyle reflects on the skin so staying in good physical condition can aid in the the good appearance of the skin. There are two sets of glands found in the dermis the sweat glands and the oil glands. The sweat glands are employed in the elimination of the water-soluble cellular waste. The oil glands secrete oil, which lubricates the skin surface. This prevents the skin from excessive dryness and chapping. Blockages, congestion, over activity or under activity of these two sets of glands are considered the primary causes of our numerous skin problems. Moisturizing helps in keeping the moisture in the skin. The conditioning routine restores the acid balance on the skin and corrects other such imbalances.Oxygen is vital to the skin and blood cel1s carrying both oxygen and nourishment are circulated to every part of your body including the skin.

(1) Skin Care Tips

7. Keep your makeup clean. Replace the sponges in your compact on a regular basis.

8. Exercise moderation. More exerise is not better.

9. Avoid direct sunlight and smoking.

6. Gently remove with moist cotton-wool, using stoking movements in the same directions as when applying.

7. To remove eye make up; apply over the closed eye, gently patting not rubbing.
