Facial skin care is rather difficult for the person with sensitive skin. This is because sensitive skin gets irritated when brought into contact with harsh ingredients and abrasive substances. This is why lots of care and thought has to be placed in choosing facial products for facial skin care.

Besides using the right skin care products, there are some skin care tips that have to be followed for good facial skin care. It is important to never sleep with your make up on. This is because make up left overnight only clogs the pores and traps dead skin cells in the hair follicles. Its consequences are blackheads and acne, if not treated early. Moreover chemicals on the skin only prevent the skin from regenerating and breathing when you sleep.

Though the damage the sun causes to your skin is not visible in younger years, its effects are rather prominent in later years. In fact, most wrinkles and lines are the consequences of the sun. The sun is also responsible for the formation of brown spots on the face, shoulders and back. Too much of exposure to the sun may also pose a risk of developing skin cancer that arises from the direct rays of the sun. It is to prevent all health conditions that doctors advise the use of sun screen whenever you plan to stay outside for long periods of time. Sunscreen not only has to be worn in summer, it also has to be used in winter.

It is always better to maintain some hygiene and keep your facial skin as clean as possible. Most people find a facial wash sufficient to keep their skin clean. However it is recommended by experts to use mild cleansers to wash your faces. And if you have a habit of wearing make-up, make it a point to also use toners, moisturizers and make-up removers with your make up. This is because all of this helps in keeping acne, and pimples under control.

One of the most important things needed to maintain facial skin care is the moisturizer. This is because a moisturizer helps regenerate and prevent the development of both wrinkles and lines on the face of a person. In addition to all these facial skin care tips, following a healthy diet works wonders on your facial skin care.

Eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible in a day as they are both food stuffs containing a high percentage of water. In addition to fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water in a day. This is because water is very useful and important in flushing your system of toxins that accumulate through the food that you eat. Following all these tips will provide you with the facial skin you were always yearning for.

For men, taking care of our skin can prove to be one of the best things to learn how to do. Besides the most obvious advantages like looking better, it has also the advantage of improving our health. Skin care does it part on helping us stay healthy, especially when taking accounts recent studies that prove men are genetically more prone to develop skin cancer. Every activity begins with some essentials stuff, and daily men’s skin care is no exception, here are the 5 essential aids to start looking and feeling better:

1. Face Cleanser

A good face cleanser is different from your regular soap. It will remove dead skin cells, dirt, oil and pollutants we catch from the environment. It will also unclog the pores and by doing that it will also prevent us from acne blemishes and pimples.

If you have very dry skin use creamy cleansers. For oily skin, acid-based cleansers. But well, most cleansers serve for all types of skin, so better read well the labels before buying any product. Sometimes you may feel your face “tight” after cleaning and drying, this happens because the cleanser has got rid off of too much oil. (You need some oil on your skin after all!) What happens next, is that your skin will try to compensate producing more oil, eventually clogging pores. If you notice this, switch to a better cleanser.

The face cleanser should be applied once in the morning and once at night. Apply with water on face and neck, using a warm temperature and pat dry with a soft towel.

2. Shaving Cream or Shaving Gel

The shaving gel or cream basically does two things. First, it softens up the beard allowing a close shave; and second, it will help the razor blades glide smoothly over your skin. This helps reduce razor burns and blemishes caused by ingrown hair.

When choosing a shaving cream, most will work for any type of skin. But it is better to use a quality shaving cream that does some “extra work”, like providing natural nutrients to the -soon to be damaged- skin.

The application of the cream or gel depends on the product. Now in the market there are even dry shave gels, that don’t require you to wet your skin first. One common advice is too put the shaving cream or gel, and let it rest for about a minute (just let it do it’s work for a while) and then shave. If you want to get an even better shave, do it right after a hot bath. hot water helps open up the pores.

3. Toner

The toner will clean the pores, removing shaving residues and restore the skin pH. It also helps the skin fight bacterial invasion. As the cleanser, apply it once by morning and once at night. For normal to dry skin use an hydrating toner, and for oily skin a toner-astringent.

Toner should be applied after shaving, and if you don’t have facial hair, after cleansing. It is also good idea to apply it after prolonged sun exposure to restore the acid levels on the skin.

4. After Shave

The after have is more than a cologne to close the pores. A good after shave will restore the skin’s natural moisture after shaving and relieve of irritations. Advanced after shaves will also combat razor burn and leave you with a soft restored-from-damage skin. They come in lotions and creams, I’ve found creams often work better.

To apply it just massage a little on shaved skin on face and neck immediately after shaving and toning.

5. Moisturizer

This is the final step in daily men’s skin care. The moisturizer will prevent the natural moisture n the top layer of your skin to go away. And will help water retention. Most people think it brings water into your skin, but it just helps holding its natural moisture. If you have dry skin go foir oil based moisturizers, and if you have oily skin go for humectant lotion.

To apply it, massage the moisturizer gently on your skin until you will it is fully absorbed, and do it after shaving and toning. If your skin is very very oily you should not require moisturizer, but talk with a skin professional first for better advice.

That’s it. These are the 5 essentials of men’s daily skin care. If you take of your skin no problems will arise in the future and you can end up looking younger and healthier.

It is an asset to have healthy skin. When you refer to your beautiful outer self one of the most essential aspects is your skin. The following are ten of the most important skin care tips.

1. One to two times a day you should cleanse your face with warm water. You should do additional cleansing after every heavy activity. Cleansing is important to get rid of the dirt and harmful pollutants that you are exposed to during your daily activities.

2. To maintain your skin’s elasticity and moisture balance it is very important to drink lots of water. Water is essential to radiant and healthy skin. Water also has many benefits for the rest of the body as well.

3. One of the most essential skin care steps is to figure out what your skin type is. This is the basis for finding the right skin care products for your needs. The ingredients of skin care products are based on skin type, so even if they look the same the ingredients are always different.

4. To remove dead skin cells exfoliation is important. However, never use too much exfoliating products since this will cause harm to your skin rather than helping you achieve healthy skin.

5. To achieve healthy skin an important product is moisturizer. Your skin will dry out if it isn’t properly moisturized. Scaly skin not only doesn’t look good, but it is unhealthy too. When the skin is a little wet it is the best time to apply your moisturizer since it will help lock up the water in your skin which prevents it from drying out as fast.

6. There are different ingredients in soaps that can cause irritation or harm to your face. For this reason you shouldn’t use soap on your face. No matter what your skin type is you can find a variety of facial cleansers. Experiment and find the best cleanser for your needs.

7. When you go outdoors you should use lotions that have Sun Protection Factor or SPF. Whatever the condition of the weather, you should always protect your skin from the harmful UV radiation. Even when it isn’t sunny there are ultra violet rays. Even without noticing it you can become overexposed.

8. Getting a good nights sleep is very important to having healthy skin. You should always find time to sleep even when you have a hectic schedule. Eye wrinkles can result if you don’t get your proper amount of sleep.

9. While stress can be unavoidable it is important to find time to relax. You can help alleviate stress by taking Vitamin B complex. Another good option to relieve stress is to start an exercise routine.

10. If you have a skin disorder it is important to seek professional advice. Always talk with a dermatologist before jumping into using any products.

Maintaining a proper skin care routine is important to keeping your skin clear, free of impurities and oil, and moisturized so it remains healthy, acne-free, and radiant. Your basic skin care regimen should include cleansing of the skin, applying an alcohol-free toner, and finish with a moisturizer + sunscreen.

Face cleansing is the core of skin care regimen. You should wash your skin with a gentle cleanser at least twice a day to remove the oil, dead skin cells, dry skin. These are substances that can clog the pores. It is important for the pores of your skin to remain bacteria free as the presence of bacteria is something which contributes substantially to the growth of pimples. If you have overall cleanliness of the skin, you can lessen the chance of pimples. Before you apply all those cosmetics or medications for your acne, experts always tell you to wash your face. Here are several tips on proper skin care for your oily acne skin and how to properly wash your face.

1. First, remove every trace of make-up/cosmetic on your face. Use cotton ball and moisturizing cream to avoid damaging your skin.

2.Use lukewarm water to wash your face. This will also open the pores for deeper cleansing. Avoid washing your face with water that is too hot or too cold as it can dry out your skin. .

3.Avoid strong or harsh soaps/ cleansers. Strong soaps can dry your skin and strip off natural lipids. Choose soap that are mild if you prefer soap, or you can always choose cleansers that are soap-free, non- comedogenic (won’t clog pores), and mild like Cetaphil, Burt Bee’s or Neutrogena. Even better, you should use natural skin care products such as Dermalise since they are more gentle to your skin.

4.For people who have acne-prone skin, you should use cleansing products that contain salicylic acid. Salicylic Acid is a naturally occurring organic acid and a gentle, effective exfoliator. It is very effective for acne and oily skin and helps to unclog pores by removing dead skin cells, loosen and remove blackheads and whiteheads, and prevent future outbreaks. Products should contain 1-2% concentration of salicylic acid in order for it to be effective. For sensitive skin types, a 1% concentration would be suitable and for stubborn acne, 2% concentration is recommended.

Note that Salicylic Acid also makes skin sensitive to the sun. Sunscreen should therefore be used while applying Salicylic Acid. Also, sunscreen protects your skin from harmful UV rays of the sun and helps prevent wrinkles.

5.Massage face gently in an upward motion using using your fingers. Do not do hard rubbing as it will actually do more harm than good.

6.Rinse face well to remove all residue of soap or cleanser. Residues left behind can actually clog your pores. Facial cleansers can leave an invisible residue behind which can clog your pores. Rinse three times, then rinse again.

7.Pat dry with soft, non-abrasive towel. Never ever rub your face.

8.Use an alcohol-free toner on your face. Toning your skin restores skin pH back to it’s normal range and it closes the pores to your skin and prevent dust and other air borne particles from settling in your pores. Again, it is recommended to use products with natural and organic ingredients. It should make your face feel smooth and refreshed. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids work the best for toning the face. These acids actually can reduce the pore size, and help avoid ingrown hairs. They are aggressive and have quick results. Remember to look for a product that is not photosensitive (sensitive to light).

9.Finish your routine by using a moisturizer to replenish the natural oils that have been lost. Moisturizing is a necessity step. Again, the product that uses natural ingredients (i.e. Dermalise) and with the least amount of chemical additives is the best. Always use a light moisturizer on your face after cleansing. For an intensive moisture treatment use pure vitamin E, or aloe vera oil. It is available in liquid form, or just break open a capsule and apply the oil directly to the skin.

10.Use a sunscreen throughout the day (min SPF15) to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Long term exposure to UV radiation may result in harmful effects such as sunburn, skin cancer, and acceleration of skin aging process.

11.If you have oily hair, you should wash and shampoo your hair daily to prevent the oil from touching and clogging the pores on your forehead.

12.Also, it is also important to not to touch your skin with your fingers. Our hands and fingers normally carry a multitude of various germs. When these germs make contact with the pimples, it can make the pimples worse.

The above 12 essential skin care for your oily acne skin steps would help you keep your face clean, clear and beautiful. However, for some of us unfortunate acne victims, our acne problems are more serious. Therefore, tougher measures must be taken. In addition to following the above recommendations, it is recommended to use an acne curing system that fights acne bacteria both from inside the body as well as outside the body. Most over the counter acne products in the market such as Clearsil, Oxy-10, ProActiv only address acne problems at the skin level and that is not enough to effectively fight acne.

If your acne problem still persists after following the above skin care regimen, you should use an anti-acne system that employs the proven principle of fighting acne both from the outside and the inside the body. The system should include an oil-free, SD Alcohol and Salicylic Acid solutions based facial & body wash and herbal pills. The facial/body wash will help you fight acne on your face, back, chest and arms by unclogging your pores and expelling all the bacteria and oil that cause pimples and other blemishes. The herbal pills effectively fight acne-causing bacteria from the inside. Together, they are very potent in getting rid of acne fast and preventing acne from occurring again. See our website for more information and for recommendation of a proven anti-acne system guaranteed to stop acne fast!

Skin care is vital to aging gracefully. We are all born with moist, soft, smooth, wrinkle-free skin. Unfortunately, time and exposure to the elements makes skin tough and dry. As we age, our skin sags and wrinkles develop. While there is no way to stop time, by practicing beneficial skin care, we can slow down the visible signs of aging skin.

The first step in practicing good skin care is understanding the makeup and processes of the skin. Consisting of three layers, skin is made up of subcutaneous tissue, the dermis, and the epidermis.

Subcutaneous Tissue – The inner layer of skin consists of subcutaneous tissue containing fat cells that are responsible for insulating the body. With age, the subcutaneous layer shrinks, contributing to sagging skin and wrinkles.

The Dermis – The middle layer of the skin is called the dermis and it contains connective tissues.

The Epidermis – The outer layer of skin, the epidermis protects the inner and middle skin from contaminants in the environment. Skin cells that travel from the inner layer of the epidermis to the skin’s surface flake off after reaching the surface. The epidermis gets thinner as people age, producing less collagen and losing elasticity, which leads to sagging and wrinkles. The sweat glands decrease in the epidermis with age, causing dry skin. Over exposure to UVA and UVB sunlight rays can further thin the epidermis layer of the skin, contributing to an accelerated breakdown of the middle dermis layer.

The first step to beneficial skin care is cleansing the skin to remove dirt, excessive oils, and dead skin cells. In addition to cleaning the skin, cleansing works to help prevent pimples and acne. Over cleansing can make skin dry by removing too much of the essential natural oils that naturally moisturize skin. Moisturizers help combat dry skin from over cleansing and environmental factors by restoring moisture to the skin.

Successful skin care requires a constant effort. A twice-daily routine of cleansing and moisturizing is most effective. By avoiding over exposure to the sun, a person can prevent damage to the skin by the sun’s rays. Applying a sunscreen when needed will help limit damage due to sun exposure. A nutritious diet, full of fruits and vegetables containing nutrients and antioxidants, will help skin stay young looking. Water is a vital part of good skin care as water hydrates the skin, cleans pores, and keeps the skin moist.

The best cleansers and moisturizers for a successful skin care routine include products containing natural, organic ingredients. Recipes for natural skin care cleansers and moisturizers make it easy to find the perfect product. Skin care recipes allow a person to mix up their own products right in their own kitchen. This ensures a person can tweak a recipe until they have achieved the recipe best for their own skin type. By mixing up the most beneficial natural cleansers and moisturizers, a person can ensure the daily build-up of dirt, oil, and dead cells are washed away and replaced with soothing moisture.

ocess of exfoliating is one that removes the oldest dead skin cells from your skins outermost surface. It is a process that has been used for many years now as a means of maintaining your skin. It is an aid when it comes to speeding up the process of your skin flaking and shedding and the great news is you can either do this yourself or you can have it done for you as part of a facial or body treatment at a spa, so what are you waiting for?

Exfoliation helps as a means of speeding up the process of skin flaking and shedding; it takes off the dead layer of cells as a means of exposing the finer, more translucent tissue underneath. Basically exfoliating can dramatically improve your complexion, especially when you keep in mind the fact if your oldest dead skin cells are not removed they can clog your pores, which can go on to causes spots and/or blackheads. This is important considering the average human generates a new layer of skin every two or four weeks. So just how do you go about exfoliating your skin?

There are a number of steps that you need to go through in order to successfully exfoliate your skin; to start with you need to brush your dry skin before you get into the shower. To do this you can use a loofah or special exfoliating gloves as well as an exfoliating brush but what you need to remember is you start at the soles of your feet and work your way up. You work your way up using your loofah or equivalent and an exfoliating cleanser you then use these to scrub your body in gentle, circular motions.

The type of cleanser that you choose is of importance. You shouldn’t opt to simply use soap; you need a cleanser that has a grainy texture that actually exfoliates your skin. Also, make sure you check out the ingredients that these cleansers contain but what exactly should you be looking out for? Ideally, your chosen cleanser should contain things such as oatmeal, ground almonds, or sea salt. The reason for this is these ingredients will help to create the grainy texture needed to ensure your skin is effectively exfoliated.

Although exfoliating can do wonders for your skin, it should be noted that regular exfoliating is very drying to your skin and this could do more harm than good. It is because of this reason that your skin needs to be rehydrated with the right skin care moisturizer cream and lotions. You should aim to use these at least once a day but preferably twice daily as a means of keeping your skin hydrated constantly.

One more important point that you need to consider when you are exfoliating is the fact when you are exfoliating your face you should use products that have been specifically designed for this purpose. The reason why you shouldn’t use the cleansers you will use on your body for your face is because they will be too abrasive and irritating for your face, which could cause more harm than good.

If you want smooth, glowing and fresh looking skin, then I would highly recommend exfoliating to you. It achieves all of these goals while preventing the onset of fine lines and maybe even wrinkles. Just make sure that if you are going to do it that you follow the above skin care tips to ensure that you do it right.
