Be honest—are you one of those people who is easily sucked into skin care product hype? I used to be. It’s tough to avoid; companies use celebrities and doctors and billboards to get you as a customer. You’d think they would invest most of their money in developing effective products instead of slick marketing.

So how can you avoid being influenced?

Focus solely on the ingredients.

That’s the secret to finding the best anti aging skin care.

You’ll find creams and lotions that combat skin aging. And you’ll find whole skin care product lines that include moisturizers, cleansers, and lotions that treat wrinkles, dryness, and laugh lines.

These products should contain natural ingredients. Two of the most effective ingredients are phytessence wakame and cynergy TK. Phytessence wakame is an extract from kelp found in the Japanese Sea. It helps your skin by breaking down an important acid; this makes skin smooth, firm, and radiant.

Cynergy TK also prevents premature wrinkling of the skin. Many anti aging natural skin care products include this ingredient. It makes your skin produce more collagen and elastin, which are the keys to skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, our body produces less and less collagen and elastin, so this ingredient is critical.

Besides those two ingredients, the best anti aging skin care treatments also contain essential oils and herbal extracts. It’s very important that everything in your skin care product be totally pure and organic. Anything applied to the skin will be heavily absorbed into the body.

You don’t want to be rubbing dangerous chemicals into your skin day after day.

Beware: Some rub-on skin products list collagen and elastin as ingredients. This is false advertising since collagen and elastin are only found in connective tissue in the body.

Applying collagen and elastin directly to skin accomplishes nothing.

You have to use ingredients like cynergy TK, which stimulate your body to produce more of its own collagen and elastin. Many companies trick consumers into thinking they can add more collagen to their skin with a simple cream.

Visit my site to learn more about the types of ingredients found in the best anti aging natural skin care products. And the types of ingredients you shouldn’t find.

To know what to look for in an antiaging skin care product, it’s important to understand what causes deterioration in the skin over time. All aspects of aging, including slack skin, wrinkles and uneven skin tone are the result of free radical damage at the molecular level.

Oxygen molecules are the bad boys of the antiaging world. When involved in a chemical reaction, they frequently lose one of their electrons and then dash madly about trying to steal an electron from another molecule. This can start a destructive chain reaction of unstable molecules, called free radicals, dashing around creating more unstable molecules.

Think of it like a radical mob building to riot force. Free radical damage is also known as oxidation. On metal, it appears in the form of rust. So when we say we are getting rusty, it’s not really far from the truth!

Fortunately skin has amazing regenerative abilities that help it repair damage up to a point. As well, nature has provided an anti-riot squad called The Antioxidants. Antioxidants are found in the human body and elsewhere in nature. They effectively block free radicals from getting to other healthy stable molecules.

But there are factors that can accelerate free radical damage to the point that the balance of power shifts in favor of the free radical mob. Current thinking categorizes the factors into: lifestyle (meaning where and how you live); the natural aging process; and genetics.

Some of these skin risk factors can be changed and some can’t. As time and science march on, the list of factors which can be mitigated grows longer and longer. Lifestyle changes are frequently possible if you know what to do and are motivated to make the changes.

Thanks to fairly recent scientific findings, the natural aging process of skin can be slowed and even reversed to some extent. That leaves only the genetic factors of skin aging that we are stuck with. At least for now.

UV protection, in the form of SPF creams, is the first topical step to take for your skin’s health. The second is moisturizing. The third step is assisting the fight against free radical damage with antioxidants. Steps four and five are skin care products that help remove old/dead/abnormal skin cells and those that promote normal skin regeneration. Many ingredients shown to accomplish this demolition and renovation are found in the latest generation of face creams.

In addition to antiaging treatments that support physical health and beauty, there are also antiaging skin care creams that address cosmetic concerns like adult acne, uneven skin pigmentation and lines of expression.

While no one dies from these conditions, it is widely accepted that if we look better, we feel better. So though treatments for these skin conditions are termed cosmetic , they frequently have a mental health benefit in that they support a healthy self-image and increased self confidence.

Without a doubt, botanical skin care products are the next “Big Thing” when it comes to beauty products. These products are made from various extracts and oils from plants and flowers (hence the “botanical” phrase). Many top celebrities (like Renee Zellweger and Demi Moore) swear by their botanical skin care products.

That’s great for them, since they can afford to spend thousands every year on skin products. But what about us? The normal-Jane moms? Well, we have to be bit more crafty. Fortunately for YOU, I’m the Queen of Craftiness.

We have to find the botanical skin care ingredients that are so amazing, and then locate affordable products that use those ingredients.

It’s like meal planning. I look in my freezer and pantry for ingredients my family loves, and then I search my computer for recipes with those ingredients. I’m guaranteed to make a recipe everyone will eat. (And you are guaranteed to find affordable botanical skin care products that will actually work!)

I’ll make it even easier for you. I’ve already figured out what those botanical skin care wonder-ingredients are. So, I’ll list them here and you can go and shop for them.

Sea Kelp (Phytessence Wakame)

Sea kelp has been used for generations in Japan to help keep skin looking youthful. It is packed-full of healthy nutrients, for your skin and your bones. (It has 15 times more calcium than milk when eaten.)

Specifically, studies have recently shown that this powerful antioxidant helps protect the skin from loosing its elasticity and becoming saggy and keeping circles from developing under the eyes.

Babassu Palm Tree Fruit

The babassu palm tree grows in the Amazon. A potent oil is derived from the kernal of the Babassu’s fruit. That oil is a natural moisturizer that both dry and oily skins benefit from. The oil is a favorite in botanical skin care products that are specifically for eczema, or itchy dry skin.

Maracuja

Maracuja is a passion fruit extract found only in Brazil. It is a natural emollient (which is a fancy-pants way of saying “moisturizer”). It is rich in linolenic acid, an essential fatty-acid (which is a fancy-pants way of saying your body doesn’t make it, you have to put that essential fat into your body). Linolenic acid nourishes your skin and leaves it silky-smooth. (Seriously, your husband won’t want to stop touching you – it’s that good!)

Manuka Honey

This honey isn’t your regular clover-variety. This honey is found only in New Zealand and has been scientifically-proven to boost the healing properties of the skin. The special enzymes found in manuka honey gives it amazing antibacterial and antioxidant properties. (Anti-bacteria means anti-blemish.)

Find any one of these botanical skin care ingredients in a low-cost product, and your skin will be shining all the way to the bank. Luckily for you, I’ve already found some! Visit my website below to see what I discovered.

Some people think that anti aging skin care should restore the youthful appearance that was lost over the years. In truth, there has never been an antiaging skin cream that could repair the damage done by years of neglect, until now.

Some damage is done before you even reach the age of twenty. UV radiation has long been the bane of anti aging skin care. Without exposure to UV light, we might have the smoothness of a youngster well into our twilight years.

But, health is always about balance. For every give, there is a take. If you avoided sunlight entirely throughout your life, you might not have wrinkles or need to worry about antiaging skin cream. You might even be able to avoid skin-cancer.

But, your life would likely be shortened by vitamin D deficiencies and your back would likely be humped from osteoporosis, even if you were conscious of the need for supplementation. For many years, anti aging skin care advice has focused on the need to use sunscreen. But, surveys are finding more and more people with vitamin D deficiencies, particularly among the elderly.

You see, while sunscreens with an SPF rating provide protection from burning, they also inhibit the body’s ability to convert sunlight into vitamin D. Sunlight is the only naturally occurring source of the vitamin, except for the flesh and livers of fatty fish and animals that live in polar areas. But, what you may ask, does this have to do with antiaging skin cream.

We knew that UV radiation from the sun increased the levels of free radicals in the skin’s layers. We knew that those free radicals caused damage on an atomic level that eventually led to wrinkles and skin-cancer. We didn’t know, until recently, that we could repair the damage with anti aging skin care.

Health professionals were only concerned about preventing cancer. Cosmetic companies were mostly concerned about selling products. Now, the head of a health supplement company in New Zealand has sponsored the research to merge antiaging skin cream with the skin’s health.

What they learned is that antioxidants, long known to be good for the inner body, are also beneficial to the outer body. This is a major step forward in anti aging skin care.

Antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, protein and other health giving compounds can be formulated into an antiaging skin cream that supports the skin’s natural ability to “heal” itself. The complete list of the effective natural components that the company has identified is too lengthy to completely cover in a single article.

Some of the ingredients in the company’s anti aging skin care products support the body’s ability to produce new collagen and elastin fibers. Some of them prevent the depletion of proteins need to create new skin cells. Other ingredients in their antiaging skin cream are antioxidants that undo the damage done by free radicals and deactivate the chemical process that causes additional damage.

Still others support the body’s ability to tan, which protects the deepest of the skin’s layers from damaging UV radiation. There are ingredients in these anti aging skin care products that prevent and reduce the appearance of age spots, stretch marks and scarring. If more people find out about it, we may have a population of elderly people that look much younger. Just think of the possibilities.

All of us are concerned about our skin perhaps because it is one of the first things people notice. There are skin care treatments everywhere that can help us repair damaged skin and maintain a glowing, youthful appearance. This article will show you steps you can take for a daily facial skin care treatment and advice on what to use on your face.

Step 1: Cleanse

As you go along with your daily activities and even while you’re sleeping, your skin tends to accumulate dirt that clog up pores. When you wake up from a long night’s sleep, excess sebum or oils accumulate on your skin. When you step out of your house you are exposed to harsh pollutants, UV rays, and/or cold weather that irritate your skin. As a result, your pores become clogged and inflamed, causing blemishes and scars.

In this case, it is important to wash your face in the mornings and evenings. Splash some warm water over your face, apply a mild facial cleanser with gentle circular motions, and wash off. Mild cleansers are the best to use, since they do not tend to aggravate damaged skin and cause the sebaceous glands to produce excess oils.

Step 2: Tone

Toning such as using an exfoliator helps tighten pores and get rid of dirt that’s left on your skin. Exfoliation sloughs off dead skin cells that thicken the skin, clog pores, and cause discoloration and dullness. It promotes healthy skin cell turnover and smoothens out the surface of the skin. Therefore, exfoliating at least once a week helps reduce blackheads, whiteheads, inflammation on the skin, and the depth of fine lines and wrinkles.

Step 3: Moisturize

Keep your skin hydrated at all times by using a moisturizer every time you finish washing and toning. Moisturizers help lock in natural moisture to enhance the skin’s elasticity and therefore prevent dryness and sagging. They also protect the skin from infection. Find products that also contain sunscreens to protect against UV rays that cause photoaging (premature aging).

A Word Of Advice

Now that you know the basic steps to maintaining healthy skin, know the right things to use on your face. As much as possible, use a facial skin care treatment that contains natural ingredients. The difference between natural and synthetic ingredients is that natural ones are derived from living substances. Our bodies are able to identify these living substances as nutrition, therefore fully benefiting from them.

For instance, oatmeal naturally binds to the skin’s surface and creates a protective film to decrease friction and absorb humidity. It has naturally occurring chemical substances that lock in needed moisture (with polysaccharides and natural proteins), sooth irritation, and absorb impurities (with antipruritics and natural antibacterials).

Now imagine the benefits of other natural ingredients such as added vitamins and anti-oxidants. With these basic skin care steps and a natural facial skin care treatment, you are able to treat damaged skin, skin discoloration, photoaging, and acne. There’s no such thing as a fountain of youth for your skin-great skin solely depends on maintenance and the right ingredients!

The modern women in today’s world manages both her career and as well as family. This is especially in the case of people living in the city, where human skin gets exposed to lot of pollution. Every time you step out of your houses you need special protection for your skin. These dangers may ruin the natural look of the skin leaving it with ugly scars, pimples, spots. So you need a follow some easy skin care regimen.

First step in skin care is using a cleanser. Cleansing can be done with face wash or scrub or milk. They go deep in the skin removing all the impurities. It is recommended to use a cleanser twice a week.

You can also use a toner. This refreshes your skin. In case you have an oily skin it absorbs the excess oil from your skin. Moisturizing creams provide intense moisturizing and helps prevents further moisture loss. Different types of moisturizers are used for day or night times. When you are shopping for a day moisturizer, buy one which is light on the skin as well as one with sun protection. For a night moisturizer go for the one which nourishes and recharges your skin.

The skin on your lips requires extra care too to keep away from dryness and cracking which at times would lead to bleeding. To keep away from this, use a good lip balm.

To keep your hands soft apply a generous amount of cream on them. In case you are washing vessels wear rubber gloves. Hands if exposed to sun can lead to tanners of the skin. This can be prevented by wearing gloves of again by using a sun protection cream.

A wild variety of these products are available in the market. Big malls have all of these products. You can  try all of these at the mall with proper advice and guidance from the  beautician.

Apart from all these you should always drink enough water and include fruits and green-leafy vegetables as a regular part of your diet.
