Use a good skin cream.

It’s funny; that basic skin care tip usually leads to confusion, disillusionment, and desperation. Only a tiny percentage of the time does it make someone happy. What am I talking about? I’m talking about all the grief a person goes through looking for skincare products that work.

Who usually gives you this advice? Well, you’ll sometimes get it from a magazine article listing the 10 best skin care tips. Or sometimes a good friend will suggest it to you when you’re complaining about a new wrinkle or line you discovered on your face.

However this skin care tip came to you, it usually doesn’t have any real meat on it. Which skin care cream, there are thousands? Which ingredients should you look for? Do some skincare products contain harmful chemicals to avoid? Somehow you’re expected to magically have the answers to all these, actually very important, questions.

If you don’t know the answers, you’ll first be confused—browsing the hundreds of skincare products in a department store or the thousands of products online. Then you’ll be disillusioned—you’ll buy a random skin cream, use it for a few months, and see mediocre to poor results. Finally, you’ll be desperate – your face seems to look older and older each morning you wake up, but you feel helpless to stop it.

Well, the next part of this article will help you.

This skincare tip needs explaining. Let’s discuss a few of the most effective ingredients and few of the ones you don’t want to put on your skin.

Two good skin care tips:

Cynergy TK. This cutting-edge natural substance is actually very new to the market. The power of Cynergy TK is its ability to boost your body’s production of collagen and elastin. The supply of these two skin proteins is what keeps your skin smooth, pliant, and firm.

Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10. Do you know the antioxidant Coenzyme Q10? It’s a very popular nutritional supplement. Well, this natural ingredient is a special “nano-emulsion” form of COQ10. What does that mean? It means that the antioxidants are highly concentrated, so this ingredient can penetrate 7 layers deep into skin.

Free radicals are constantly attacking skin cells and causing damage like wrinkles and lines. Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 provides the best antioxidant protection against this common and dangerous skin ager.

One bad one:

Mineral Oil. Unfortunately, this ingredient is widely used in the skincare industry. It’s a synthetic moisturizer. But, in reality, all it does is coat skin. Yes, you could say it technically locks in moisture. But what it really does is prevent your skin from “breathing”. It blocks pores and stops toxins from being eliminated. If used long enough, mineral oil will eventually lead to dryness and possibly acne.

These are only three ingredients to look for. To really take apart this skin care tip, visit my site where I lay out and discuss a full list of good and bad skincare ingredients.

Probably you have heard people talks about natural skin care. What is actually natural skin care? Basically, natural skin care is using natural ingredients for skin care products, including roots, essential oils, various flowers and also various herbs.

Nowadays natural skin care products have become increasingly popular, because people are constantly looking for new varieties of skin care products. Entrepreneurs see that as opportunities and many companies are starting to offer natural products to their customers.

Even the name is ‘natural’, but natural skin care product is not always created by 100% natural ingredients. Most of them are combination of natural substances with natural preservatives, various emulsifiers, humectants and a variety of surfactants.

The above fact makes several people who have tried a natural skin care approach have decided to make their own products in order to ensure they are applying only natural products to their skin. Chamomile is one of favorite skin care ingredients for people, because it can heal the skin as well as anti-inflammatory abilities when put on topically.

Quality natural body care products are purely from botanical based and do not have synthetic chemicals. It is also important that the manufacturing process that is utilized does not damage the natural ingredients.

Skin Care Product Variations: From Honey to Shea Butter

Hone, Jojoba and Shea Butter are popular skincare ingredients. Let take a look at them…

Honey will retain moisture of your skin. It also has the ability to help your skin take in moisture. Honey is rich with antioxidants and also contains some anti-microbial. Any skin care products which contain the appropriate amount of honey are effective to prevent your skin from the sun and some experts say that it can also rejuvenate your skin.

You might want to try some Jojoba for your skin, since jojoba is considered to be a natural skin care product. The main function of Jojoba is to soften up the skin. Many popular skin care products use Jojoba as their main ingredients.

Shea butter is found in kernels from the Karite tree and is contained in numerous natural skin care products and it. Research shows that shea butter can provide significant therapeutic results. Experts also say that shea butter in an unrefined, certified organic form is useful for treating skin problems including eczema, stretch marks, dermatitis and even psoriasis. However, it is highly recommended to consult with your doctor before trying any skin care products.

Overall Health Creates Healthy Skin

It is also good to remember that skin care health is strongly related with your body health. Healthy body makes healthy skin care. So, if you want to have a great skin, you need to maintain your body as well. Do regular exercise, eat vegetables and fruit, drink water, sleep well, no alcohol and no smoking.

If you can do that regularly, and you also regularly clean, moisturize and exfoliate your skin, you will get an overall health and as a bonus, you will also get great, clear, toned skin.

“. For those born with great genes, aging skin is delayed. More often than not, however, aging skin must have a beauty regimen on a daily basis to retain texture, buoyancy and prevent wrinkles.

Aging isn’t the only element that damages skin. Improper sun protection, pollutants, poor diet and other factors such as cigarette smoking or overindulgence in alcohol, all damage skin from the inside that eventually begins to affect outer layers of skin.

Anti-aging skin care is a priority no one can afford to ignore. Skin ages by degree and accelerates by midlife and beyond. Slowing that aging process isn’t impossible. Using the right skin care products is the first step to retard damage to skin that’s lost its radiance and texture. Aging skin needs moisture in order to maintain suppleness. It also requires anti-oxidants to protect it from further damage.

Beautiful skin is always an attention-getter. Decreasing the signs of aging around the eyes, mouth and chin can be accomplished with healthy regimen of anti-aging skin care products designed especially for aging skin. Anything of great value always requires attention and care. This is especially true of skin. Applying moisturizers regularly, pampering the skin with nourishing skin care products is essential to this requirement of attention and care. The result is clearly evident. Tiny lines and wrinkles are less prominent and add to a more youthful overall glow.

Using anti-aging skin products is always preferable to surgical procedures or artificial plumping of skin. These are temporary methods that don’t really address the obvious problem of lack of proper skin care. Anti-aging skin care products base their effectiveness on visible results that endure over time and keep skin healthier. Healthier skin through proper cleansing, gentle moisturizing and toning are all part of an anti-aging regimen for all types of skin, i.e., oily, dry and in-between.

Anti-aging skin products also address adult acne problems by creating a pH balance that’s ideal for aging skin. Maintaining that balance on a daily basis keeps adult skin clean and acne-free. The usual causes of aging skin problems have less of an effect when skin purity is improved. Removing makeup properly before cleansing is important. Anti-aging skin products are gentle to sensitive areas around the eyes and are created without harsh chemicals to achieve results.

Anti-aging moisturizing creams for day and night offer maximum skin protection. Even oily skin types need some moisturizer to protect from weather extremes. Dry to medium skin types should seek overall moisturizing care to prevent dryness, scaling or flakiness before it occurs.

Aging causes skin to change. Such changes needn’t be an indication of neglected skin. The time invested in caring for aging skin is insurance of good appearance as well as healthy well-being.

What is beauty? Why do some people have more eye appeal than others? What makes a woman beautiful? I put it to you that real beauty comes from radiating personal acceptance and having a sense of worth.

We don’t always feel beautiful. There are days when I feel downright ugly, usually when I am feeling excessively stressed and worried. On days like this I have found that if I take some action, no matter how small, toward working on something I consider worthy, a project, a goal, learning something new, or doing some activity in line with my values – before long I’m feeling beautiful again. When I am feeling beautiful I am sending sweet bounty out into the world.

Overall health is a good goal for feeling and looking beautiful. When we take time to treat our bodies well, whether by exercising, eating well, grooming and taking care of our skin, or simply taking the time to get a good night’s rest – we shine.

Environmental factors are the skin’s worse enemy along with stress. Our skin is exposed to the heat of the sun, drying winds and the pollution of dust, grime and cigarette smoke. Perspiration and oil secreted from the sebaceous glands clog pores and make the skin appear greasy. Because of this it has become important for us to use a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen every day. Knowing your skin type will help you select products that are right for your skin. With the right products you will see the results you are looking for.

Skin falls into four basic types:

1.Normal

2.Combination

3.Oily

4.Dry

Facts You Should Know

The largest organ of the body is the skin. When skin is healthy it is moist, smooth, soft and to some extent acidic. Our most fragile skin is on the eye lids. Our skin serves as a waterproof defensive structure to protect our bodies from outside elements.

Our Skin’s Functions

1.Protect us form injury

2.Excrete perspiration

3.Regulate heat

4.Sense touch

5.Produce sebum and oil to lubricate skin and hair

6.’Breathe’ – absorb oxygen and get rid of CO2

Skin Types

Normal

Normal skin is actually a rare skin type. The majority of people do not have normal skin. Normal skin looks healthy and unblemished. The oil /water balance in this skin type is good and the skin has a refined texture.

Home Care Aim: Support moisture balance with regular use of good cleanser and moisturizer.

Combination

Most women have combination skin type. The skin on the face dry areas and some oilier areas. The T-zone – forehead, nose and chin is generally oilier than the cheeks and outer areas of the face.

Home Care Aim: Control oil in the T-zone area. Keep Dry areas hydrated. Use exfoliating scrub twice /week to diminish blemishes. Use mask once /week to refine large pores.

Oily

You can tell oily skin by a fast build up of oil shortly after washing. Oily skin has large pores and needs to be cleansed and exfoliated more often than other skin types. Take care not to over cleanse or exfoliate too aggressively. Over cleansing and aggressive scrubbing will irritate the skin. When oily skin becomes irritated the sebaceous glands try to protect the skin by producing more oil. Oily skin routinely has blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes. Teens and darker skinned women are more likely to have oily skin.

Home Care Aim: Control oil by using water based product formulated for this skin type. Exfoliate regularly but not too aggressively as to irritate the skin. For oily skin with sever acne – consult a dermatologist.

Dry

Dry skin is generally associated with mature skin. In dry skin conditions insufficient oil is produced by the skin. The pores are very small and the skin has no lubrication to protect it from the elements.

Home Care Aim: Combat dryness and dehydration. Drink extra fluids and moisturize the skin regularly. Use gentle a cleanser formulated for this skin type.

Sensitive

Sensitive skin becomes red and irritated easily. Sensitivity is regarded more as a skin condition than a skin type. There are now products on the market formulated for sensitive skin.

Home Care Aim: Calming down and soothing the skin.

These are the basic skin types. It is important to remember that skin changes over time and skin care requirements change along with it. This means your skin type may change and you will need to re-evaluate products that you are using. It is important to know your skin type as products are formulated for different types of skin.

As company’s knowledge of the skin and how it works has grown they are able to produce products that better serve our home care needs. Though packaging is nice to look at it is ingredients that are important. It’s good to be aware of the ingredients in in your home care products and how these ingredients work on your skin. Always buy a brand you trust and feel comfortable using.

Do you know how to care for your skin? Unfortunately, skin doesn’t come with an instruction booklet or care instructions. Thankfully, there are some natural skin care tips that can help keep your skin young and supple.

The skin care tips listed in this article may be slightly different from most other skin care tips that you may come across. This is largely due to the fact that these tips are taken from a number of expert sources on skin care and skin care products. Try a few of these tips if you want to experience skin that isn’t itchy, dry, or wrinkled. To begin, let’s talk about a good exfoliation procedure.

Exfoliating your skin is important. You can exfoliate your entire body each morning with the help of one natural brush. As you slough away dead skin cells, your circulation will increase. Use your natural brush to work small circles all over your body in a clockwise manner. Go through this process each morning before stepping into the shower.

Next, try working on your inner body. Begin with drinking lots of water. Most people should drink up to eight glasses of water per day. Also, try and increase the amount of fiber in your diet. Believe it or not, fiber will help to invigorate your digestive system, which will automatically impact your skin. You can find fiber in lots of foods including apples, figs, dates, grains, and lots of vegetables.

Another way to really jumpstart your body is to work on your circulation. Good circulation means showing off a healthy complexion. Massage, exercise, and simple stretching movements (such as yoga) are great for your circulation. As your circulation increases, you will find that your complexion also becomes healthier.

Lastly, don’t cut fat out of your diet completely, but do limit your intake of sugar. Sugar actually speeds up the aging process, though most people aren’t aware of this fact. Attempt to cut back on your sugar slowly, and then work your way towards cutting sugar completely out of your diet. A good way to ease out of your sugar habit is to start leaving a bit of dessert on your plate every night. Eventually, you won’t want to eat all of that dessert every time.

As far as fats are concerned, eat only those fats that are considered good fats. Your body does need a bit of fat to remain healthy, so don’t cut it out altogether. Instead, focus on foods such as avocados, nuts, and other healthy foods. It may seem hard to believe that nutrition has anything to do with skin care, but it impacts your skin more than you may think.

Keep all of these things in mind every day as you wake up, choose your foods, and work throughout the day. Remember to keep your body moving all day long, increase your circulation, and always find a way to eat properly. Every single thing that you do to your body will directly impact your skin. Natural skin care products will help your body look younger, but you have to play your part too.

It would be nice if the television and magazine commercials stopped using 30 year old women to display the results of the anti aging skin care products. The fact that the models used in these advertisements makes it almost impossible to discern whether theses products are actually beneficial, or simply work on people who do not look a day over 30 to begin with. The chronic search for the right skin care product is costly, time consuming, frustrating, and can result in a cabinet full of product and an unhappy face staring back at us in the mirror.

Choosing the right skin care product based on the ingredients rather than the woman in the commercial is more likely to yield better results. SPF protection is vital in today increasing sun strength. While SPF products will not reverse the damage which has already been done, it will help to prevent future sun damage. SPF is a number which indicates how long you can stay in sunlight before skin damage starts to occur. Thus, an SPF 30 means that your skin can tolerate 30 times the normal time in the sun before enough UVA and UVB rays penetrate the lotion and begin to cause damage. The length of time is determined by the strength of the sun. Your anti aging skin care products should contain no less than SPF 20 for everyday living.

Emollients and natural moisturizing factors are vital in these products. These are basically the ingredients found in naturally healthy skin that can be derived from other natural sources. Applying these to the skin allows the skin to absorb the ingredients and then heal the damage that has been caused over time. Ingredients such as lanolin, mineral oils, plant oils, cholesterol, collagen, elastin, amino acids, lipids, and glycerin all help to heal the damage on a cellular level. While there are numerous other ingredients that can be beneficial, the basic idea is to stay away from chemically enhanced products and gravitate toward natural products. Natural products are going to cost more.

Skin care products that control free radical damage actually helps to decrease the risk of skin cancer as well as reduce the appearance of the signs of aging. These types of ingredients are going to look like the list of RDA nutrients on a cereal box, as most are vitamins or vitamin based. Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and green tea extract are the 4 top nutrients that help eliminate or reduce free radical damage.

One of the biggest and most ambitious goals of such products is reducing or eliminating wrinkles. Tightening and firming sagging skin is a serious effort. Ingredients such as palmitoyl tetra, copper, and palmitoyl pentapeptide are the three major ingredients for reducing or eliminating wrinkles as well as scars.

While there are other ingredients that can help eliminate the signs of aging, these ingredients should definitely be in every similar product before ever being advertised, sold, and presented as a skin care cream. Proper use of the proper ingredients has been proven to yield the desired results, however, just like the damage did not occur overnight, the damage will not be healed overnight. Patience is a must when attempting to shrink a few years from your face.

To start the discussion on oily skin care, it’s imperative to first understand the cause behind oily skin. Put simply, oily skin is a result of excessive production of sebum (an oily substance that is naturally produced by skin). As is known to everyone, excess of everything is bad; so excessive sebum is bad too. It leads to clogging of skin pores, resulting in accumulation of dead cells and hence formation of pimples/acne. Moreover, oily skin spoils your looks too. So, ‘oily skin care’ is as important as the ‘skin care’ for other types of skin.

The basic aim of ‘oily skin care’ is the removal of excessive sebum or oil from the skin. However, oily skin care procedures should not lead to complete removal of oil. ‘Oily skin care’ starts with the use of a cleanser. However, not all cleansers will work. You need a cleanser which contains salicylic acid i.e. a beta-hydroxy acid that retards the rate of sebum production. Cleansing should be done twice a day (and even more in hot and humid conditions).

Most of the oily skin care products are oil-free; however, it is always good to check the ingredients of the product, before you actually buy it. This is especially important if a product is marked as ‘suitable for all skin types’, instead of ‘oily skin care product’. ‘Oily skin care’ is also dependent on the degree of oiliness, if you aren’t too oily, so some of these ‘suitable for all’- type of products might be work for you too. For extremely oily skin, only oily skin care products are suitable. Your oily skin care routine can include an alcohol based toner (for an extremely oily skin). This can be the second step in your oily skin care routine i.e. just after cleansing. However, excessive toning can harm your skin.

The next step in your oily skin care routine can be a mild moisturiser. Again, the degree of oiliness of your skin will determine whether you need to include this in your oily skin care routine. If you do decide to include a moisturiser, be sure to use one that is oil-free, wax-free and lipid-free.

You could also use a clay mask (say once a week) as an oily skin care measure.

As far as the oily skin care products go, you might need to try out a few before you arrive at the one that is really suitable for your skin.

In case these measures don’t give you the desired result, consult a good dermatologist for advice. He could prescribe stronger oily skin care products like vitamin A creams, retinoids, sulphur creams etc , which can help counter the problems of oily skin.

Are you serious about your skin care? Serious skin care requires a total health approach, or you’ll never achieve the skin care results you want.

After all, our health is the most important thing to us. What are we without our health? And our overall state of health is related to the state of our skin as well as our overall wellbeing. With good health we achieve great skin, but without it it’s extremely difficult to achieve great skin.

So if, to achieve serious skin care results, we need to get serious about our skin, and health, first, what should we do? How do we go about this?

Simple. Notice I said simple, not easy. There’s 5 simple things we can do to achieve the skin we want, and the look we want. And if we do these 5 things then we’ll also achieve great overall health and feel great as well as achieving serious skin health.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Exercise. There’s no doubt that exercise has an impact on just about every aspect of our life, and health, including our skin. Exercise, for example, increases our ability to circulate the blood around our body, and as the skin, like other organs, requires a good blood supply, improved circulation will improve your skin health. Serious skin care must involve a minimum amount of exercise.

2. Improve your diet. Cut down on the Pizzas and burgers, increase your intake of high quality fresh fruit and vegetables. Increase your intake of good vitamins and minerals and antioxidants and your skin will thank you for it.

3. Use high quality organic health supplements to supplement those vitamins and minerals that we should be getting in our diet, but aren’t. Because even the best diet will have it’s deficiencies, for a number of reasons, and we need to use high quality organic supplements to correct this.

4. Avoid well known brand name skin care products. Serious skin care cannot be found in a brand name moisturizer. Brand name products contain ingredients that are at best suspect and at worst actively damaging to our health and skin. And the bottom line is that mainstream skin care products don’t work anyway, so even ignoring the health risks, you’re wasting your money using the skincare products on the shelves of your local store.

5. Use a quality organic skin care range that offers tested ingredients proven not only to be safe to your overall health but also to work. And the best ones are backed up with money back guarantees so you can try the products risk free until you’re convinced that they are working for you. Try getting a money back guarantee like that from your mainstream skincare product manufacturers.

Serious skin care requires a serious, thought out approach to overall health, not just skin health, because the two go together. If you’re serious about your skin care you need to make an effort. Anything less and it just won’t work. But if you do it will shine through in far more than just your skin health. It will show in your whole life.

Because your skin is just another organ in your body. It’s a visible organ, not an invisible one. Because people see your skin they see when your skin us unhealthy, because it looks unhealthy. But if you get healthy generally then your skin gets healthy, and looks it.

So make sure you get serious and practice some serious skin care practices. Eat well, stay moving and stay healthy and everyone will know, from how your skin looks.

Where do you get these great skin care products? Not from the mainstream anti aging and skin care companies, in fact the best ones come from a company you’ve probably never heard of.
